Full name: Multisubstrate pseudouridine synthase 7
Synonym:
GI: 6324817
Orf: YOR243C
COG: COG0585
UniProt: Q08647
Structures: | |
Complex:
Enzyme type: pseudouridine synthase
Position of modification - modification: t:13 - Y
s:many - Y
n:56 - Y
t:35 - Y
n:35 - Y

Comments:

Cytoplasmic. Formation of pseudouridine 35 in tRNA in yeast as well as in Archaea is intron dependent. In yeast it also catalyzes formation of pseudouridine in U2 snRNA: position 35 in modified constitutively while position 56 only under stress conditions .
